Helen / FLORENCEJapan

Childcare aimed at deeply facing and understanding each and every child.

This visual features “Nursery for children with disabilities: Helen” and seeks to find / employ individuals who will act as nurses to children who require specialized medical care such as severely disabled children and those who require extended times in daycare.
For those parents of disabled children, there is a significant barrier upon raising their child. That is to say, there is no facility to accept their severely disabled children for long periods of time, meaning that they are unable to find a balance between their everyday jobs and raising a child. “Nursery for children with disabilities Helen” seeks to realize and make possible a society where “children with disabilities can improve their self-esteem and hope towards a brighter future” and “where parents of disabled children can enjoy both their work and raising a child”.
In these visuals, we closely followed the everyday routine of a nurse working at Helen, and focused on the thoughts and opinions of those involved with Helen.
