The brand name andu amet, in Ethiopian means “one year”. It represents how leather as a texture ages, and hopes for the precious use as well as the craftsmen’s dedication, as every piece is handmade. All the staff originate from Ethiopia, and everything from materials, production, to finish is conducted solely in the country. The film aims to fully involve the viewer into the experience, and further show andu amet’s appeal.
