Delivering the food culture of the Tokai region nationwide

The crowdfunding visuals to protect the fishery business of Kii peninsula, Mie prefecture, where aging of the fishery generation with no successors, decrease in catch, and aging of the equipment poses a threat to the supply of ingredients, created to solve these problems.
“Okuyama Yasuzou Shouten Himono Terrace” and “Kyoto Shijou Kuwon”, restaurants that focus on using local ingredients have opened in Nagoya’s PARCO RESTAURANTS’ “& FOODHALL”. And on this occasion, the two restaurants have initiated the project “We want to protect the fishery of Kii peninsula, Mie prefecture!” as a way of paying back to and supporting the local producers. The industry faces a significant problem, with the fishery workers rising in age and a lack of successors leading to a decline in catch. Also, replacement of the aging equipment, etc. is required. Therefore, they started this crowdfunding project to raise funds for training of the younger generation, updating of the fishery equipment, and other ways to support the fishing industry.
WORLD FESTIVAL focused the visuals on the natural attractions of the Kii peninsula, Mie prefecture, and the devotion of “Okuyama Yasuzou Shouten Himono Terrace” and “Kyoto Shijou Kuwon” to protect the fishing industry.
