On Apr. 26th and 27th, we hosted the “WORLD KIDS FESTIVAL in Nepal 2019” at the private school Brihaspati Vidyasadan, located in Kathmandu.
In this event, aimed at the children of Nepal, we held experiences of music, art, science, sports, etc. that local children rarely get to experience. We planned and conducted this WORLD FESTIVAL Inc. festival project in the hopes that the children of Nepal could expand their viewpoints, feel closer to the world around them, and expand the life choices they have ahead of them.
On the days of the event, with Japanese supporters, the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, local students and supporters, various content was exhibited. With the focal point as music, art, science, sports, etc., we created close to 40 content with involvement from the children. From local areas to locations several hundred kilometers from Kathmandu, on the days 15 schools attended, with over 1000 students participating.
We received help and assistance from not only the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers, but NPO corporations, companies, individuals from both Japan and local. We thank you for your support and cooperation.
